WHO: Morgan Stark and the best uncle ever Bruce Banner
WHAT: Getting to know you, time travel style
WHEN: Saturday afternoon
WHERE: Morgenstern's ice cream
WARNINGS: Endgame spoilers...but honestly, it's been a year and a half and you're in this game guys

Tony had a daughter.

That was a revelation he'd learned over a week ago now and Bruce was still getting his head around it. More concerning, said daughter was sixteen here. None of them were exactly 'spring chickens', but neither Tony or Pepper looked or acted old enough to have an almost fully grown daughter. And considering she'd brought with her the revelation that Tony was...dead. That was even harder to grasp.

After all that, dealing with him being permanently big and green seemed almost like a cakewalk. Even if it was still horribly odd.

So it was a smaller, more mortal uncle Morgan was getting that day. Until he got his feet back under him, he'd mostly been checking out New York, seeing what had survived the Snap (and subsequent portal-based mistakes) and what hadn't. And his favorite gourmet ice cream place with over eighty-eight flavors was there. The owner might not be, but the shop was still available and run by friendly enough people. And if one was going to spoil one's surprise niece, one started with some of the best ice cream Manhattan had to offer.

He held the door open for her before making his way to the shop counter, watching her face to see what she thought. It really was an intense experience the first time anyone saw all those flavors available. "Have you been here before? Or did Pepper keep you out of the city, which I wouldn't blame her for, it's a madhouse sometimes." And the poor kid had probably been all kinds of shaken up.

Morgan tapped her jaw and looked over the long list of flavors, her eye catching on one particular flavor. “Chocolate orange and olive oil.” She raised her eyebrows up as she considered it. “I looooooooooove Chocolate orange… but I don’t know about Olive Oil. Might be weird.” She chuckled. She was up for an adventure anyway. Though, there was also a very safe, very delicious chocolate chip cookie dough. “What is your favorite flavor?”

Morgan’s eyes grew wide, and she let out a soft ‘oooooh’, “I don’t know if my mom is the same as my mom in your dimension, but she absolutely loves when a man tells her how to raise her daughter.” She smirked, “You should have seen the time that Fury implied that she was smothering me.”

"I know it sounds weird, but it isn't nearly as bad as you might think," he reassured. "You can barely taste the olive oil, it makes it more creamy than anything. But their more traditional flavors are really nice, too. You can tell it's all handmade." Besides, she didn't have to taste everything all at once. They had time. Or, at least, he hoped they did. He was grateful to know he had a future and she was in it, but that wasn't the case for everyone here.

Maybe it was wrong, but Bruce was perfectly content with not touching the way things were.

"My favorite ever is just plain cookies and cream, honestly. But here, it just changes depending on mood, I guess. I'm definitely feeling something banana today."

He grinned as he admonished her for lecturing Pepper. As much as she might have looked like Tony, he could definitely tell without question who her mother was. "I would hope Pep would know by now that I have the utmost faith in her parenting. She's obviously done a great job." Which was obvious by how brilliant the kid there with him was.
