WHO: Tony Stark & Pepper Potts
WHAT: Reuniting
WHERE: His office
WHEN: Friday afternoon
STATUS: Threading
WARNINGS: His mouth, probably talk of injury/death
Tony sat in his office for the second time that week waiting on an important person to visit him. It had only been a few days since he last saw Pepper in his time, but it felt like a lifetime with everything that happened.
He clicked off the network, pocketed his phone, and hurried to his door, which he opened and waited all so obviously for his beautiful wife. He broke into a grin when he saw her and drew her in for a passionate kiss. "Told you I was real."

"I know, I know. If it happened the same exact way, I'd tell you it was okay, that we'd be okay." Her hand sought his, wanting that connection for the moment. "It doesn't matter, you're real. And I'm not letting go without more of a fight."
Nothing was esay when it came to him, but she wouldn't change him for the world.
He pulled his phone out. "Let me show you something." He clicked to his photos and showed a recent one of Morgan. "Sixteen, Pep. Sixteen. God help us. She was five a few days ago."
"Eleven years." She breathed out softly, "I can't believe it. That's... Hard to wrap my head around."
"She's amazing, Pep. You do an amazing job." His smile faltered. He hated thinking about their reality. He much preferred his current one where he had Pepper, Peter, and Morgan. Granted, he missed Rhodes and Happy like hell, but he held out hope they'd come one day too. "Anyway." He cleared his throat and kissed her cheek. "Welcome to wherever the hell this place is." It felt like reality to him. He knew messing with the fabric of time screwed up their various realities, but still.
"We'll figure it out, we always do." She was not sure exactly what messing with time did, but she knew it was likely not good. But it didn't matter. She was selfish enough to be thankful she got him back.
"Tomorrow, we'll get me situated, caught up, and back to work. People are coming from all sorts of places, right? If you want I'll take over coordinating their comfort and adjustment, if you want to focus on the science side of things?" Pepper did best when she had a project.
Her fingers brushed over his cheek, before she rested her head on his. "I missed you too. Every minute. Every day. I love you." Her voice dropped, softer. "I need you."
It didn't matter when she was, she'd be okay. She had Tony and her daughter.

"I know, Tony, I know. You and Bruce handle science, I'll make sure everyone is comfortable..we will make this work - we have no other choice.and even if you can send people home? I won't leave you. Or Morgan. I promise you that."
