WHO: Tony Stark, Peter & May Parker
WHAT: Reunions
WHERE: Tony's office in the building
WHEN: Monday, Sept. 21
WARNINGS: Tony's mouth, probably
Tony dashed a note to May on the network once he heard from Peter. Should he have waited to see the boy with his own two eyes? What if he was hurt? Peter might not want his aunt seeing him hurt. But what if he wasn't hurt? May would want to see her nephew straight away. Tony knew that because he needed to see Peter right away. He needed to see he was whole and healthy and alive.
"Calm down, Stark," he muttered to himself. "Calm the fuck down. The kid can't see you like this." He took several deep breaths and imagined Rhodey talking him down from a panic attack. He focused on what Rhodes would say if he was there. "Gotta be there for the kid," Tony, then much calmer, reminded himself.

Now that he was clean, he could get a good look at what his external, superficial injuries might be. There weren't that many, just a few cuts and bruises here and there. He could feel some sore spots where he'd gotten tossed around the battlefield. All of the physical pain was nothing compared to the emotional mess he was still sorting through. That was going to take a while.
He wrapped himself in the big fluffy robe FRIDAY directed him to, then stepped out of the bathroom in search of Mr. Stark and whatever clothes he was going to be able to wear until he had his own stuff.
"Hey, kid," he said when he spotted Peter fresh out of the shower. He was sitting on the sofa, clicking away on his phone. "Ready for that pizza?"
There's no fight at all when Mr. Stark suggested he sleep. Despite having no idea how long he'd been awake, he hadn't really felt tired until just now. He didn't say anything, just rested his head on the pillow and tucked his feet up on the couch. "Will you..." a slightly hitched breath, "will you just - talk to me until I fall asleep?"
It didn't take him very long to fall asleep, but he had forced himself to stay awake a little longer than he might otherwise, just to listen to all the things Mr. Stark said they were gonna do. He wanted to stay awake longer and keep listening, but his weary body wouldn't let him and he finally drifted off, relaxing against Mr. Stark's lap.
